Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi.

In the demanding world of a game company, where deadlines loom and office politics simmer, twenty-three-year-old Rihito Otsuka navigates the monotonous grind of salaried life. He is the archetypal young worker—diligent, unassuming, and increasingly numbed by the daily routine. Across the floor, however, operates a starkly different force: twenty-seven-year-old Noa Saotome, a razor-sharp career woman whose relentless ambition and polished competence have earned her the reputation of an ultimate professional. Their paths, defined by age, seniority, and completely opposing social orbits, were never meant to cross—until an ordinary, unremarkable moment unexpectedly collides their worlds. What begins as a trivial encounter soon unravels into something far more profound. In a life stained with quiet disappointments and the lingering ache of adulthood, Rihito discovers that even the most unlikely bonds can offer solace. Noa, too, finds herself drawn to a connection that defies the rigid hierarchies of their workplace. As they tentatively navigate the fragile space between colleague and confidant, the two begin to redefine what it means to have a "friend"—not as a mere convenience, but as a lifeline in a world that often feels isolating. Their shared secret becomes a quiet rebellion against the loneliness that pervades their daily existence, challenging the very notion that professional success and personal fulfillment must remain separate.
