Tonari no Seki no Gyaru

A routine classroom seating change completely alters the daily life of an ordinary, self-proclaimed otaku. When the new arrangement is announced, he finds himself placed directly beside Aihara-san, a striking and heavily stylized gyaru who commands attention wherever she goes. For someone whose world revolves around niche hobbies and quiet routines, sitting next to such a bold, fashion-forward classmate feels like being thrust into entirely uncharted territory. At first glance, Aihara-san appears intimidating, her flashy appearance and confident demeanor creating an invisible wall between her and the protagonist's sheltered lifestyle. He expects their interactions to be awkward at best, or perhaps entirely nonexistent, assuming that their vastly different worlds have no reason to overlap. However, as they share the same desk space day after day, his initial apprehension begins to waver. The fearsome image he projected onto her starts to crack, revealing unexpected glimpses of the person beneath the heavy makeup and trendy accessories.
