Tantei Akechi wa Kyouran su

Tantei Akechi wa Kyouran su stands as a tribute to Akechi Kogorou, the brilliant fictional detective born from the imagination of master mystery writer Edogawa Rampo. At the center of its story is Mayumi Hanazaki, an ordinary middle-school girl whose quiet life is torn apart in the cruelest way imaginable. Raised by her aunt and uncle, Mayumi loses both of her guardians when a mysterious assailant mercilessly cuts their lives short, leaving her utterly alone in a world that has suddenly turned cold and dangerous. Adrift in grief and burdened with questions no one around her can answer, Mayumi seems destined to face the darkness by herself — until a strange turn of events changes everything. Through an unusual incident, she comes to rely on the spirit of none other than Kogorou Akechi himself, the legendary detective whose name has become synonymous with masterful deduction. United by this extraordinary bond, the grieving schoolgirl and the famed sleuth set their sights on the truth. With Akechi's keen insight guiding her, Mayumi pursues the mystery surrounding her aunt and uncle's murder, determined to unmask the killer who shattered her life.
