Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai

Each of the four girls carries her own quiet desperation. Yoru Mitsuki was once an illustrator whose brush brought worlds to life, but now she has abandoned her craft, haunted by a creative block she cannot name. Nonoka Tachibana, a former idol cast out from the spotlight, still clings to her voice as her only weapon, aching to prove that she is more than a faded memory of the stage. Nox Ryūgasaki projects an unshakable persona online, declaring herself "the strongest" VTuber with every stream, yet the bravado masks a fragility she dare not show. And then there is Kimura-chan—an enigmatic composer who shuns the limelight, her only motive the fervent desire to support someone she cherishes from the shadows. Bound by their individual fractures and a shared hunger for expression, these four disparate souls converge to form "JELEE," an anonymous artist collective that refuses to reveal its members' true faces. In the digital underbelly of the city's night, they weave their talents together—illustration, song, performance, and composition—into a single, defiant voice. Yet their anonymity is both shield and cage; while it protects them from the failures of their pasts, it also isolates them from the very recognition they secretly crave. As JELEE's creations begin to ripple across the internet, the quartet must grapple with a profound question: if no one knows who they really are, can their art ever truly belong to them—or will the masks they wear eventually consume the identities they are trying to reclaim?
