Summary

Official Details
The quiet of Link’s home is shattered by a desperate, otherworldly plea—Princess Zelda’s voice, echoing directly in his mind, cries out from the cold dungeons of Hyrule Castle. No sooner has the telepathic summons faded than his uncle appears, armed and armored for a perilous journey. The elder warns the boy to stay behind, but the weight of the princess’s distress is a call Link cannot ignore. Defying the order, he slips out into the night and trails his guardian straight to the castle gates. What Link discovers inside is grim: his uncle lies mortally wounded, his strength all but spent. With his final breath, the dying man presses his sword and shield into Link’s hands, charging him with the mission he can no longer complete. Steeled by necessity, the young hero ventures through the castle’s treacherous corridors, evading guards and overcoming obstacles until he reaches the princess’s cell. Freeing Zelda, the pair plunge into the labyrinthine sewers beneath the fortress, navigating the damp, darkened tunnels toward the one place that still offers safety—the sanctuary, where their desperate flight may yet find a brief reprieve from the forces gathering against them.
