Dreaming Freedom

Jeongmin's high school existence is a study in isolation. Once a childhood friend to the popular and influential Juhyeon, their bond shattered under the weight of Juhyeon's possessive demand for exclusive friendship. Now, Juhyeon has twisted their shared history into a narrative of betrayal, wielding it as a weapon to turn their classmates against Jeongmin. The halls that should be filled with learning are instead a gauntlet of whispers and scorn, leaving Jeongmin trapped in a waking nightmare of loneliness and daily humiliation. Her only sanctuary lies in the world of sleep. In her lucid dreams, Jeongmin finds a fleeting taste of freedom, a realm where the rules of her cruel reality do not apply. But even this fragile escape is upended when a mysterious and enigmatic man appears in her dreamscape. He presents her with a dark and tempting proposition: the power to exact a terrible revenge on Juhyeon. Now, Jeongmin stands at a precipice, forced to decide if she will continue to endure her suffering in silence or if she will grasp the chance to turn her dreams into the ultimate instrument of retribution, blurring the line between fantasy and the waking world forever.
