Grand General

"Stop there, Grand General!" The cry echoes across the wind, but the man who once bore that title has already left it behind. Known as the Omniscient Master—mentor to the Emperor and teacher of the Royal Guards—he was revered as the mightiest warrior in history. Yet even that vaunted status could not hold him. He chose a different path, one that demanded he shed his renown, his aged form, and even his identity. The wizened elder with flowing white hair is gone; in his place stands a young man with raven-black tresses whipping in the breeze. His name is Lee Gwol. No longer shackled by duty or rank, Lee Gwol vows to drift across the land like an untamed gust. The world is steeped in blood and turmoil, but he carries with him the quiet fragrance of tea—a symbol of the peace he intends to restore. He will not be confined by emperors or generals; he will carve his own road, cleansing the chaos with a calm that defies the violence surrounding him. Yet abandoning the highest title in the realm is not without cost. His past refuses to release him, and those who once revered him now see him as a fugitive. As Lee Gwol roams freely, he must confront a world that clings to its greatest weapon, even as he strives to become something far greater than a soldier.
