Gringo

Gringo is a manga originally published in 1982. The story takes place in the same year, where Hitoshi Himoto, a quintessential Japanese workaholic, is sent to South America to manage a subsidiary of his company. In this foreign environment, Himoto must navigate the complex web of relationships between local competitors, dictators, and revolutionaries, all while striving to lead his company to the top.
