Mahoromi: Jikuu Kenchiku Genshitan

Niwa, an architecture student, moves into the house his late grandfather designed and built. Though he barely knew the man, the property’s proximity to campus makes it a practical choice. Yet something about the residence feels deeply off. While exploring, Niwa stumbles upon an old photograph of a young woman—clearly not his grandmother—and the discovery only deepens his unease. Later, he accompanies his friend Akira to document another aging house slated for demolition. As he wanders through its fading rooms, Niwa is shaken by a strange, almost supernatural encounter. Are these disturbances echoes of the buildings' own spirits, as Akira suspects, or does a far more intricate mystery lie behind Niwa's growing sense of dread?
