Like Mother Like Son

When Ji-Yun’s mother ends her relationship with her boyfriend, the sudden breakup introduces an unexpected complication. The freshly dumped man, Hyun-Soo, happens to be exactly Ji-Yun’s type. Faced with this tempting situation, his intentions are far from innocent. Rather than keeping a respectful distance out of loyalty to his mother, Ji-Yun sees an irresistible opportunity and resolves to make the first move, fully intending to sleep with him. For Hyun-Soo, reeling from a painful and abrupt separation, the timing could not be more vulnerable. He is precisely the kind of man who might welcome a rebound to ease the sting of rejection. What begins as the prospect of a single, impulsive encounter carries the potential to evolve into something far more enduring. Ji-Yun recognizes that a brief fling might just be the opening he needs to play the long game. The dynamic between them shifts from familial proximity to quiet seduction. All it takes is for Ji-Yun to act on his desires and bridge the gap between them. As boundaries blur and hidden motives surface, a reckless decision threatens to transform a temporary distraction into a complicated, lasting entanglement that neither of them can easily escape.
